Choosing a Licence
The four licence types - Free trial, Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime - and what each includes.
Every product on FXNook is sold as a licence. The seller decides which of the four types they offer and at what price.
The four licence types
| Licence | Runs for | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | 14 days | Trying an EA before buying. Always expires. |
| Monthly | 30 days | Using an EA without a long commitment. Includes updates. |
| Yearly | 365 days | Long-term use at a lower cost per month. Includes updates. |
| Lifetime | Never expires | Buying once. |
Free trial rules
To keep free trials fair, these limits apply:
- One free trial per product for each customer, each email address and each trading account.
- A limit on how many free trials one customer can have running at once.
- Disposable email addresses may not be accepted.
Renewing
When a Monthly or Yearly licence is close to its end, My Licences shows “Expires soon”. To keep using the EA:
- Buy a new licence from the product page, entering the same trading account number.
- Copy the new key from My Licences.
- Paste it into the EA’s FXNook_LicenseKey setting. The EA picks it up straight away.
If you would rather keep your current key, contact support before the licence runs out.
What every licence includes
- A licence key tied to your trading account.
- The download, and new versions released while the licence is valid.
- The FXNook badge on your chart, showing the licence state.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when my licence expires?
The EA stops opening and managing trades the moment the licence runs out, and the badge says so. Once a valid key is in its settings, it starts again by itself.
Can I switch from Monthly to Lifetime?
Buy the Lifetime licence from the product page. Contact support if you would like the old licence switched off or moved.
