FXNook Customer Guide

Getting Started

This guide helps you correctly install and start using your FXNook product (Expert Advisor or Indicator). Please follow every step carefully.

Step 1: Download Product Files

  • Login to your FXNook account
  • Go to Account → Downloads
  • Download the product file and the licensing DLL

Step 2: Install Product File

  • Open MetaTrader (MT4 or MT5)
  • Click File → Open Data Folder
  • Open MQL4 / MQL5
  • Copy product file into:
    • Experts (EA)
    • Indicators (Indicator)
  • Restart MetaTrader

Step 3: Install Licensing DLL (Very Important)

  • Locate the file named LicenseFx.dll
  • Copy it into the Libraries folder
  • Path: MQL4 / MQL5 → Libraries

Critical Rule

The DLL filename must be exactly:
LicenseFx.dll

Files like LicenseFx (1).dll, LicenseFx (2).dll or similar will NOT work.

Tip

If your file has a number added, rename it back to LicenseFx.dll before copying.

Step 4: Attach Product to Chart

  • Open a chart (pair & timeframe as recommended)
  • Drag the EA or Indicator onto the chart
  • Enable AutoTrading (for EAs)

If the Product Is Not Working

  • Check AutoTrading is enabled
  • Allow DLL imports
  • Confirm LicenseFx.dll is installed correctly
  • Wait for market conditions

Important

Most issues are caused by missing or wrongly named DLL files. Always check this first before contacting support.
